About Otto

Otto O'MalleeOtto O’Mallee is the creative invention of Australian friends. Struggling hard to comprehend the concept of a German living in Ireland, equally fond of Australia, their mental battle succeeded by creating a new name.

The bike-trip described here took place in 1990, just at the dawn of mountain-biking, the route is still interesting and in its arid part absolutely exciting. Take care at the height of summer, though. December and January should be avoided.
